Extrusion Mandrel

Which industries do you serve?

Our core customers are in valve and flow-control, energy, offshore, rail and specialist automotive sectors. If your parts demand tight tolerances, challenging alloys or long service life, we can help.

Can you manufacture from my CAD model?

Absolutely. We accept STEP, IGES and native SolidWorks files. Our CAM team generates toolpaths directly from your geometry, reducing programming time and eliminating translation errors.

Do you offer design support?

Yes. Early-stage design for manufacturability (DfM) consultations are available. We’ll suggest tweaks that improve machinability, extend tool life and cut costs before you commit to production.

How do you assure quality?

All parts are inspected using calibrated CMMs and in-process probing. Material certificates, FAIRs and full inspection reports are supplied as standard. We work to ISO 9001 principles and can comply with AS9102 on request.

What’s the largest component you can machine?

We can turn up to Ø 500 mm and 3 m in length, mill parts up to 1.2 m × 700 mm, and produce slender mandrels up to 1.5 m long. If your requirement falls outside this envelope, we’ll point you to a trusted partner.

Do you handle exotic alloys?

Yes. Inconel, Monel, Super Duplex, Waspaloy and other heat-resistant super alloys are routine for us. We’ve invested in the tooling, cutting strategies and operator training needed to machine them efficiently.
